About The Artists Collective Studio Gallery
The Artists Collective Studio Gallery opened in Rouse St., Tenterfield in September 2013 and one of our goals was to exhibit and promote local artists from the New England region, by offering them a gallery space to feature their artworks.
These exhibitions have been highly successful, with over 50 artists showing their works over the last 8 years. We also support artists, on a regular basis, by having their artwork at the Gallery on ‘consignment’.
Members of the Artists’ Collective Studio Gallery:
Linda Nye, a very popular artist painting traditional and contemporary landscapes on board and canvas with oils or acrylic….Linda paints her landscapes with a passion that shows in her work.
Liz Powell works with paper, including making her own from plant fibres. Pushing mixed media to the limit she combines her paper, found objects and printmaking to make quirky 3D works, artists books and exciting pieces for the wall.
Nola Sindel works in watercolour medium and also colour pencil. Her subjects are botanical and wildlife studies with a high degree of detail. Her paintings are real, engaging, and very popular. Nola produces high-quality prints of her artworks as well as cards and calendars.
Anni Washington, works in watercolour, acrylic and mixed media, mostly framed under glass. Her paintings are contemporary, spontaneous, and textural. She also paints original landscape greeting cards and gift tags as well as colourful polymer clay jewellery.
Michael Wish works with lustrous timbers, lovingly formed and sanded into beautiful works of art. His favourite form of woodwork is Intarsia. After selecting the specific woods to be used within the design, each piece is individually shaped and finished …it looks a little like a timber mosaic.
